METEOR LIGHT
When I was young, at the sight of a falling star, my grandfather told me stories about African heroes to motivate me and make me dream about the future. The memory of my grandfather inspired me to design Meteor Light. Astrology played an important role in his life; for example, he could predict the weather by looking at the sky alone or determine the time by looking at the position of the sun and moon. When I see a shooting star, I think of him right away.
Meteor Light is a unique lamp because it can be used in two different ways. As a floor lamp, Meteor Light has a closed spherical shape with sharp lines referring to a meteorite during its fall. As a pendant lamp, Meteor Light has an open, organic shape that refers to the imprint of a meteorite in the ground after its fall. Additionally, the pendant lamp can be changed to any position of the floor lamp. This enables the user to adjust the shape of the lamp themselves to create the ideal atmosphere.
